We don't leave you to your own devices during this initial phase. We support you so that you quickly find your feet, learn, and progress. Our mentors offer guidance to new team members who are new to the profession. Over the first six months, mentors help navigate not only the technical and professional challenges, but also the new company culture. "Principal" is the final career step for those of who wish to remain strictly technical. A principal is an accredited specialist in a given domain. You could also select a career path which includes responsibility for management and acquisition, leading from manager to managing director.
The level at which you start in the company depends largely on your experience. If this is your first job, you will begin as a junior, but have the opportunity of moving up to the next level after 6 to 12 months. Your rate of progress is not tied to any fixed time frame. It just depends on your own development and goals.
