Procedure

Step 1: Initialization

• Identification of Use Cases
• Creation of prototypes for selected reports
• Collection of professional and technical requirements
• Definition of the functional and technical target architecture
• Identification of the advantages and disadvantages of using Tableau compared to the current implementation

Stage 2: Conception

• Technical conception:
  • Definition of operational processes (Run, Change, Go-Live)
  • Development of a documentation structure taking into account existing documentation standards
  • Definition of roles and authorization
• Definition of roles and authorization
• Creation of authorization concept

Step 3: Introduction

• Creation of the tableau infrastructure (desktop and server)
• Creation of the data basis (extract or view)
• Conversion of reports to Tableau Desktop (deployment, going live)
• Documentation of the reports
• Training in the use of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
